A few weeks ago Rachael started thinking about who we should be for Halloween. "Who is sexy and has red hair?" she thought. "She needs to be part of a couple too." When she recommended Poison Ivy and Robin, I had no idea how we would make that work. Honestly, I wasn't too keen on the idea of green tights and a red leotard. It sounded good but I didn't give it much thought after that.
Thursday evening I was on my way home and I call my beautiful wife to find out if she wanted me to pick up anything for our costumes. "We should see what we have first," she said. That's why I love her, she's great at figuring out how to use what she has, especially clothes.
Well I got home and she had everything together except for the ivy, mask, and decorations for my red shirt. With a little work, there we were, the Boy Wonder Robin and the evil seductress Poison Ivy.
We went to Scary-okie in DC with some Gallaudet(Rachael's Grad school) friends. It was a great time.
