Two weeks and all tuckered out...

Back to the grindstone, Rachael to Gallaudet and Steve to full-time working for the government. Rachael leaves to catch the train at 6:15 and gets home between 5 and 9. Needless to say, she loves every minute! Steve's commute is a bit better. He leave by about 7 then gets home about 5.

Rachael has been testing speech development to ensure children are up to par with their peers. We're happy to report that Madeline (our niece) is above the expected progress. Rachael called to make sure and had a wonderful chat with Liz hearing the stories of Madeline saying no, hand gesturing, reporting when she'd gone to the bathroom and more. (Based on what Steve has learned from eavesdropping, He would like to report that Katryn Bockholt is well above average.) Rachael would be happy to analyze your child's speech. It takes a while so... get her when she's commuting (maybe)?

So while Rachael was on the phone, everyone else was watching the amazing and incredibly DISAPPOINTING Cougar football game. (You know, we just got to figure out how to keep them from getting the ball across the line more often than us. It's that simple.) If was fun to watch and reminisce. The schedule caught up with Rachael and she couldn't stay awake for the last quarter. (It was past her bedtime.)

lol--how are you eavesdropping on us? and she is well above average (not that I know where average is, but she just talks all day long)

Oh, eavesdropping on Rachael, not you guys. That would be cool though. I was referring to all the talking Katryn did at the BBQ we had. She's amazing!
